Our Process

The environment a bean is produced in, from soil, to weather, to ecosystem, can all have an impact on the flavor that emerges when brewed. Each new batch of fresh coffee beans may come from a different country than the time before to provide variety.

Even if you're getting your coffee beans from the same geographic region, there are other factors that can impact the taste, from the strain of bean itself to environmental factors.

This is where most people will notice the taste differences. Depending how long your roast your beans, and at what temperature, you'll end up with a wide range of flavors and acidity.

Once you get your freshly roasted coffee beans, you're ready to grind them. It's up to you how fine or course to grind your bean, but in general, you'll use a courser grind for methods where the coffee sits to brew (like a French Press) and a finer grind for a pour over or standard coffee machine.
